Training Academy
On this course, Vhari will teach up to 3 students how to prepare themselves, clients, and their workspace for microdermabrasion. Students will be taught the most popular Crystal microdermabrasion technique, as well as how to accurately perform a tactile test and full client consultation throughout the course of this hands-on, practical training day.
Students will be taught to recognise different skin disorders and diseases and how they contraindicate treatment, a basic understanding of the anatomy of the face and neck, a basic knowledge and understanding of the structure and function of the skin, how to identify the different skin types, microdermabrasion theory, and how to identify the problem areas that can be treated with a microdermabrasion treatment, as well as carrying out client consultations prior to treatment and selecting the appropriate treatments according to the client’s skin type.
Please note, the minimum requirement for microdermabrasion is to have completed the Facial Diploma prior to attending. Students will be emailed a manual at least 1 week before the course and it is recommended that students spend around 2 hours reading this prior to the course.
